Job DescriptionDescription:

The Solutions Architect will work with Federal government customers in understanding agency missions and associated project objectives. This includes working with customers to gain an understanding of key pain points, project requirements, constraints, and potential RFP evaluation criteria.

  • Collaborate with/lead cross-functional teams to design, develop, and document innovative solutions that align with customer requirements, with a focus on AI and machine learning solutions.
  • Create detailed technical proposals, including architecture diagrams, solution designs, and implementation plans.
  • Present proposals and solution concepts to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert during pre-sales activities, client meetings, and presentations.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to application development, cloud computing, data, cybersecurity, AI, and ML.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes and methodologies for solution development and proposal creation.
  • Lead teams of Subject Matter Experts and Teaming partners in solutioning sessions
  • Lead and write compelling technical proposal content in response to RFP requirements.
  • Contribute to development of innovative solutions that drive market differentiation

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution architecture, systems design, or a related role
  • Hands-on experience with modern cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Strong understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, integration frameworks, data modeling, and security architecture
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling proposals and technical documentation.
  • Solid understanding of federal government procurement processes, RFP evaluation criteria, and compliance requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence and inspire others.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in architecting AI/ML systems, including data pipelines, model training, and data analytics
  • Experience with cloud-based AI/ML platforms (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, AWS Bedrock)
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
  • Experience with big data technologies and data engineering (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)
  • Strong understanding of security architecture principles, including zero trust, least privilege, defense in depth, and network segmentation
  • Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, firewalls, WAFs, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection


The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements.
