Construction Project Manager – Central Texas
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a growing construction company in Central Texas. This is an opportunity to take ownership of projects from contract through completion while working alongside an on-site Superintendent who oversees day-to-day field operations.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project controls, budgeting, subcontractor management, procurement, and scheduling. Candidates with commercial construction experience are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects from contract execution through final completion.
- Oversee project budgets, cost controls, and financial performance.
- Coordinate subcontractor sourcing, contracts, and buyout.
- Manage project schedules, procurement, and material coordination.
- Oversee change orders, client selections, and project-related communication.
- Monitor weekly revenue, billing, and overall project performance.
- Partner with on-site Superintendents to ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget, and aligned with expectations.
- Identify potential issues proactively and hold subcontractors and project partners accountable.
Qualifications
- Experience managing construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of project budgeting, cost management, scheduling, and procurement.
- Experience managing subcontractors, contracts, and change orders.
- Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and anticipate project challenges.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Outgoing, collaborative personality with the ability to thrive in a close-knit, hands-on team environment.
- Commercial construction experience is welcome; residential custom or luxury homebuilding experience is a plus.
