We’re seeking a highly adaptable and detail-oriented Legal Assistant for our client on Long Island! The ideal candidate thrives when managing multiple tasks simultaneously, balancing accuracy with efficiency, and demonstrating both independence and strong collaboration skills. This person is proactive, organized, quick to learn, and comfortable shifting priorities to meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:

Provide daily administrative support to multiple attorneys, tailoring assistance to their individual work styles, preferences, and priorities.

Draft, format, edit, and proofread various legal documents including correspondence, contracts, agreements, and complex pleadings such as complaints, answers, and motions.

Perform electronic court filings (ECF, NYSCEF, AAA).

Manage and coordinate attorneys’ calendars—scheduling meetings, conference calls, and Zoom appointments.

Enter attorney time

Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones, scanning, copying, and submitting expense reports.
Hybrid Office Schedule - 3 days a week in office and 2 days a week at your home office
