POSITION OVERVIEW:
Synertex LLC is seeking Mid-Level All Source Analysts (Watch Officers) to provide 24/7/365 analytic support to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) through rotational shift operations. Analysts will integrate, assess, and disseminate intelligence from multiple sources to identify potential threats, guide decision-making, and support real-time situational awareness across DHS and the Intelligence Community (IC).
This position requires exceptional analytical and communication skills, the ability to perform under pressure, and a commitment to national security mission execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide 24/7/365 all-source analytic support through rotational shift work, maintaining continuous operations across six shifts.

Analyze raw data from multiple intelligence sources to support watch and warning operations.

Review and assess intelligence from the IC, DHS Intelligence Enterprise, and state/local/tribal/territorial partners to identify, prioritize, and evaluate potential threat indicators.

Assist in collecting and disseminating timely, relevant, and actionable intelligence to support the Common Intelligence and Analytic Centers (CINT/AC).

Conduct analytic exchanges with DHS, IC, and private sector partners to maintain situational awareness and operational coordination.

Produce intelligence reports, briefings, and communications supporting executive decision-making and cross-agency information sharing.

Develop and maintain metrics, feedback mechanisms, and data related to watch and warning operations.

Maintain situational awareness of emerging threats, geopolitical developments, and DHS priorities.

Prepare clear, concise intelligence products suitable for Executive and Cabinet-level audiences.

Exhibit strong oral and written communication skills under tight deadlines and in high-tempo environments.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.

With a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Intelligence, International Studies, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, or related): Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

With a degree in a non-relevant field: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience performing the same functions.

Experience and Knowledge:
-
Prior Intelligence Community (IC) experience.

Experience working with DHS data sources.

Knowledge of DHS I&A authorities, mission areas, and analytic best practices.

Familiarity with Intel Watch-style reporting, warning indicators, and current intelligence methodologies.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and DHS/IC analytic data systems.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree in International Studies, Intelligence, Homeland Security, or Criminal Justice.

DHS all-source intelligence analysis experience.

Strong background in threat identification, situational awareness, and analytic tradecraft.
