Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of hands-on technical repair experience (CNC, mechanical, electrical, or similar field) OR strong equivalent field experience • Background in troubleshooting/repair (diesel tech, HVAC, industrial maintenance, appliance repair, etc.) • Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, and technical manuals • Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude (safety-critical) • Excellent communication skills (must be able to clearly communicate with customers and team) • Comfortable with 50–75% regional travel (driving required; some flights for training) • Valid driver’s license and ability to work in field-based environments • High school diploma or GED
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Direct CNC machine repair experience • Technical schooling (Mechatronics, Machine Tool Technology, Engineering programs, etc.) • Experience with preventative maintenance programs • Experience working in manufacturing or machine tool environments • Microsoft Office proficiency for documentation/reporting • Willingness/ability to travel internationally for factory training (Spain, Italy, Japan) • Prior field service technician experience
