Two full-time positions are available serving grades 1-3 and grades 4-6 in a supportive educational environment near the beautiful Seaside, California area. Key Qualifications:
- Active California Teaching Credential (CTC) with Moderate to Severe or Extensive Support Needs (ESN) authorization
- Previous experience teaching in Special Day Classrooms or with students on the autism spectrum preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Passion for individualized instruction and student advocacy
- Ability to manage and adapt to diverse learner needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver specially designed instruction to students in grades 1-3 or 4-6, focusing on those diagnosed with autism
- Collaborate with support staff, families, and related service providers to implement and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Create a structured and engaging classroom environment that fosters growth, social development, and independence
- Collect data to inform instructional decisions and track student progress
- Maintain compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
