We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dietary Supervisor to join our team at Apex Rehabilitation and Healthcare. As a Dietary Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high-quality delivery of nutritional services to our patients and residents.

Job Summary:

As a Dietary Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and service. You will also be responsible for managing a team of dietary staff, providing guidance and training to ensure that all patients receive the nutrition care they need. Your goal will be to maintain a safe, efficient, and cost-effective food service operation that meets the highest standards of quality and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the dietary department, including menu planning, food preparation, and service
Manage a team of dietary staff, providing guidance and training to ensure that all patients receive the nutrition care they need
Ensure that all food and supplies are ordered, stored, and issued in a timely and efficient manner
Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our patients and are in compliance with regulatory agencies
Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food is prepared and served to our high standards
Maintain accurate records and reports, including inventory management and budget tracking
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all patients' needs are met

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
Knowledge of food service operations and nutrition management principles
