Job DescriptionTemporary Leasing Assistant (1+Month)Job Summary

The Leasing Assistant will support the leasing team in achieving occupancy goals by providing outstanding customer service, conducting property tours, and assisting with administrative tasks. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic individual with strong communication skills and a passion for helping people find their perfect home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet prospective residents, conduct property tours, and highlight community amenities.

  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information about availability, pricing, and lease terms.

  • Assist with lease applications, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and leasing activities in property management software.

  • Support marketing efforts by updating online listings and coordinating promotional events.

  • Collaborate with the leasing and maintenance teams to ensure apartments are move-in ready.

  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and preparing reports.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, sales, or property management (leasing experience a plus).

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (Yardi or similar preferred).

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Availability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
