Job Description

Make an impact supporting students’ growth and well-being as a contracted school psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a full-time opportunity based near Airway Heights, WA, with a weekly schedule of 37.5 hours beginning August 25, 2026, and concluding June 16, 2027. You’ll play a vital role within a welcoming district, collaborating with other professionals to shape positive educational outcomes.

Qualifications & Licensing:

Valid Washington (WA) School Psychologist license required
Previous school-based experience as a psychologist is highly desirable
Ability to work with diverse student populations across a range of ages and backgrounds
Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
Comfortable adapting to needs of multiple school sites (final assignment details forthcoming)
Effective communicator and collaborator with educators, families, and support staff
Detail-oriented and organized, able to maintain accurate records and reports

Responsibilities:

Complete comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
Provide direct support and interventions to students
Consult with educators and parents to develop and implement educational plans
Support students’ social, emotional, and academic success
Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute expertise to intervention teams
Maintain documentation in compliance with state and district standards
Adapt services as needed to changing caseload and school priorities
