Job DescriptionFacilities Maintenance Operations Manager, Pearland, TXPay rate: 20.00 - 25.00 (D.O.E.) (possibility of O.T.)**Hiring Immediately**The Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager will work closely with coordinators to schedule work orders and support the technicians in the field. This individual will assist with the schedule and monitoring the work of our in-house technicians on jobs daily. The mechanical aptitude to understand and guide work performed across several trades such as plumbing, electrical, and reactive is essential. The Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager will coordinate projects, emergencies, and overflow of reactive maintenance as needed. This individual will work closely with our Vice president, as well as subcontractors and technicians on jobs, daily.Role and Responsibilities· Hires and trains field technicians.· Assists coordinators in procurement of the correct materials needed for jobs.· Oversee technicians in the field, ensuring photos and notes are inputted into multiple systems.· Decipher technicians notes and re-word for client.· Liaison between facilities managers, clients and subcontractors.· Technical support for Technicians in the field.· Responsible to communicate updates in a timely manner to the Vice President.· Maintain inventory in the Technicians vans.· Safety discussions with Technicians.· Weekly meetings on job flow with Account Managers.Skills and Traits· Must have commercial restaurant and commercial retail experience.· Customer service oriented.· Team-player who can also work independently.· Familiar with commercial parts and materials.· Ability to multitask and prioritize.· Excellent verbal and written communication.· Problem solving/ attention to detail.· Time management skills.· Mechanically inclined mindset.· Excellent written and verbal communication skills using correct terminology.· Outstanding organizational abilities.· Must be able to take ownership and responsibility for all work done with attention to detail. (Self-directed)· Effective leader with experience in team development and motivation.Qualifications· Must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in commercial maintenance or construction.· Proven experience in a hands on/mechanical setting.· Solid understanding of technical aspects of mechanical, structural, plumbing, and electrical systems with the ability to troubleshoot.· Must be familiar with a wide variety of hand/power tools and be able to adapt to the use of new tools quickly.· Must have reliable transportation to/from work.· Must be available after hours to assist technicians and to communicate with clients.· Must be available on weekends to facilitate emergencies as needed.· Must have a reliable smartphone and be proficient with the usage of various applications.· High School diploma/GED or trade school equivalent.· Position requires a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.· Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.About UsAll Things Commercial, LLC (ATC) is a self-performing facility maintenance company based in Southeast Texas.
