LHH is currently seeking a skilled Litigation Legal Assistant or Paralegal for a well-established law firm in Tampa, Florida. The ideal candidate will bring labor and employment law experience and a solid foundation in civil litigation procedures. This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable team, supporting attorneys in dynamic and fast-paced litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive support to attorneys handling labor & employment litigation cases.

Draft, proofread, and format legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence.

Assist with case management including scheduling, calendaring deadlines, and coordinating hearings, depositions, and mediations.

Conduct factual and legal research as needed.

Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and trial materials.

File documents with state and federal courts (including e-filing).

Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.
Qualifications:

3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in labor & employment law.

Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures.

Proficiency in legal software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, document management systems, e-filing platforms).

Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a deadline-driven environment.

Paralegal certification or relevant degree is preferred but not required.
