Job Description

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Director of Finance and Accounting to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $185,000 to $225,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead finance and accounting functions by aligning financial priorities with business objectives and growth initiatives.
Oversee financial reporting close processes and accounting activities to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
Direct cash management forecasting and capital planning activities to support operational and investment decisions.
Partner with senior leadership to evaluate strategic opportunities and provide financial guidance on key initiatives.
Develop and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency scalability and overall financial performance.

Requirements:

A Bachelor degree in accounting finance business administration or a related field.
12+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting leadership roles.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of accounting standards financial reporting and corporate finance practices.
Possess experience managing financial planning budgeting forecasting and treasury related activities.
Communicate effectively with executive leadership while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications:

Build and mentor high performing teams while fostering accountability collaboration and professional growth.
Analyze complex financial information and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
Maintain strong attention to detail and ensure accuracy across reporting controls and financial operations.
Establish scalable processes and strengthen internal controls to support continued organizational growth.
Bring professional certification public accounting experience or investment related accounting expertise considered beneficial.
