Diesel Truck Technician (2nd Shift)

Job Duties:
- Perform mechanical repairs on medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks
- Perform all levels of Preventative Maintenance inspections and repairs
- Road test vehicles when necessary to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure they are properly working
- Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment using testing equipment such as laptop computers, motor analyzers, temperature and pressure gauges
- Identify warranty repairs and document properly on the repair order
- Keep work area clean and safe
- Other duties as assigned
Desired Competencies:
- Knowledge and experience with mechanics or a related field
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair medium and heavy-duty vehicles

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license (having a CDL is beneficial but not required)
- 2+ years' experience as a Diesel Truck Technician or similar position (preferred)
- Ability to obtain & maintain Department of Transportation (DOT) Technical Certification
