Job Description

The QA Analyst is responsible for both manual and automated testing phases of the production process to ensure that final products meet company standards. Duties include identifying whether products are functional, reliable, and meet the end user's expectations. The analyst will collaborate closely with the development team to test new requirements or enhancements to existing systems. They will test usability, functionality, and performance in test builds prior to release to ensure system functionality, compliance with requirements, and overall product quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Design and implement testing plans for products, covering both manual and automated test cases.

Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using modern frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, NUnit, or similar).

Identify procedures and scenarios for the quality control of products and services.

Process product reviews and inform the development team of defects and errors.

Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team.

Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meets end-user expectations.

Identify areas for improvement to enhance the product's efficiency and reliability.

Participate in SCRUM meetings, sharing feedback from test cases with the development team.

Participate in systems integration testing to ensure that new functionality does not affect prior functionality.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Document test cases, test results, and maintain regression test suites for ongoing product releases.

Additional Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in quality assurance, with exposure to both manual and automated testing

Experience in the insurance field is strongly preferred.

Strong backend testing skills, including writing SQL queries.

Experience in testing C# applications, web services, XML, and APIs.

Ability to produce complex edge cases and corner cases.

Experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JMeter, Cypress, NUnit, or similar).

Experience with DevOps and SCRUM environments.

Excellent organizational skills; able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Able to compile and organize information from scratch and synthesize into test cases.

Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.

Test systems and/or system changes for functionality, accuracy, and performance.

High standard of ethics and teamwork with management, peers, and agents.
