Job Description
Help Keep SnoBear Moving
A production team waiting for parts. A customer waiting for an order. A delivery arriving at the door. Our Shipping and Receiving Coordinator helps keep all three moving—and makes sure the records match what actually happened.
At SnoBear USA, we build specialized tracked ice-fishing vehicles in Isanti, Minnesota. We’re looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, is confident on a computer, and takes pride in sending out the right parts, in the right quantities, to the right place.
$19–$22 per hour | Full-time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. | No weekends
The Work
You’ll handle incoming deliveries, customer parts shipments, and inventory movements that support production. Reporting to our Inventory Manager, you’ll:
- Receive deliveries, physically count and inspect goods, and compare them against purchase orders and packing lists.
- Record accepted goods accurately in inFlow Inventory.
- Document shortages, damage, and incorrect items so the right people can resolve them.
- Pick, verify, package, and ship customer parts orders.
- Prepare shipping labels, packing slips, bills of lading, and carrier paperwork.
- Arrange pickups and record package details, tracking numbers, and shipping costs.
- Coordinate with Inventory and Pre-Assembly when a customer order needs parts that aren’t available in the Parts Store.
- Replenish production stock and record inventory transfers.
- Assist with preparing and loading completed SnoBear machines for shipment.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
- Make occasional local pickups or deliveries using a company vehicle.
- Keep shipping, receiving, and storage areas organized and safe.
An order isn’t finished when the box is taped shut. It’s finished when the contents are correct, the shipment is ready, and the records are complete.
What You Bring
Strong computer skills are essential. This job involves regular inventory transactions, shipping software, and documentation. You should be comfortable moving between a computer screen and the warehouse throughout your day.
We’re looking for:
- Experience in shipping, receiving, parts, or inventory operations.
- Practical working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Experience with inventory or ERP software and the ability to learn inFlow.
- Confidence using—or learning—courier and freight shipping software.
- Accuracy when checking part numbers, quantities, addresses, and documents.
- The ability to organize competing tasks and meet shipping deadlines.
- A habit of reporting discrepancies promptly and following them through.
- A valid driver’s licence with an acceptable driving record.
- Forklift certification or the ability to complete company-required training and qualification.
- The ability to safely perform the lifting, standing, bending, reaching, and material-handling duties of the position.
Why SnoBear?
You’ll join a small manufacturing team where you can see how your work contributes to the finished machine. Accurate receiving keeps production supplied. Careful shipping keeps customers moving. Complete records help everyone do their job.
If you like useful work, a weekday schedule, and the satisfaction of getting the details right, we’d like to hear from you.
Apply with your résumé and tell us about the shipping, receiving, inventory, or parts experience you would bring to SnoBear. Highlight your computer experience.
