Job Title: Concrete Laborer
Job Description
This role in the Wet Cast department focuses on hands-on, repetitive concrete production work. You will remove set forms using a crane, break apart molds with hand and power tools, clean and reassemble molds, and prepare them for the next concrete pour. You will place rebar cages into forms and operate around an overhead concrete pouring machine, moving continuously between multiple forms throughout the day in a physically demanding environment.
Responsibilities
- Remove set concrete forms from the previous day using a crane at the start of each shift.
- Break apart molds using hand tools and power tools, performing physically demanding tasks as needed.
- Clean molds by shoveling and knocking off excess concrete to ensure they are ready for reuse.
- Bolt molds back together and properly prepare them for the next concrete pour.
- Place rebar cages into prepared forms according to production requirements.
- Work around and support the overhead concrete pouring machine as concrete is poured into forms.
- Move continuously between up to 30 forms in the Wet Cast department to maintain production flow.
- Lift materials and equipment weighing up to 40–50+ pounds on a regular basis.
- Follow general labor and production procedures to meet quality and productivity standards.
- Use tape measures and other basic tools to verify measurements and ensure accurate form setting.
- Assist with concrete finishing and general concrete construction tasks as needed.
- Support form setting and form pouring activities to keep operations running smoothly.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in a dusty indoor/outdoor environment.
Essential Skills
- Ability to consistently lift 50+ pounds in a physically demanding environment.
- Experience with general labor tasks in construction or heavy industrial manufacturing preferred.
- Comfort using hand tools and power tools for breaking molds and performing concrete work.
- Basic ability to read and use a tape measure for accurate measurements.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Experience or familiarity with concrete production, concrete finishing, or concrete construction.
- Ability to work safely around cranes, overhead concrete pouring equipment, and rebar.
- Capability to work in a fast-paced production environment, moving between multiple forms.
- Strong attention to safety and willingness to wear required PPE at all times.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Previous construction experience is preferred.
- Previous heavy industrial manufacturing experience is preferred.
- Experience with form setting and form pouring in concrete environments is beneficial.
- Experience in general concrete work, rebar installation, or concrete finishing is an advantage.
- Ability to work in dusty indoor and outdoor conditions and remain productive.
- Comfort with general production processes and working as part of a team.

Work Environment
The role takes place in a tough, physical indoor and outdoor environment that is very dusty and centered around concrete production. You will work around cranes, overhead concrete pouring machines, and multiple molds at once, requiring continuous movement and heavy lifting throughout your shift. Safety is a major focus, and you will be expected to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including steel-toed shoes, safety vest, earplugs, and hard hat, while following established safety procedures at all times.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nampa, ID.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
