This full-time opportunity begins in late August and is ideal for a skilled OT with prior school-based experience. You’ll work at a single school site, serving a diverse caseload of 50+ students, and collaborate closely with dedicated educators.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license
- Previous experience as a school-based OT is essential
- Comfortable managing a caseload of 50+ students
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students across a range of needs
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student achievement and access
- Participate in IEP meetings and complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner
- Maintain organized records in compliance with school and state guidelines
Role Details:
- Contract position, full-time – 35 hours per week
- Hours: 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday
- Assignment starts August 27 and continues until a permanent hire is found
