Maintenance Technician | Holland, MI

Salary Range: $46,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on production equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PMs) on manufacturing machinery to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot complex automated systems, including PLCs, sensors, and motor controls.
• Install, commission, and decommission new and existing production line equipment.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and PPE usage.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding and adherence to industrial safety protocols, including LOTO.
• Experience with Preventive Maintenance (PM) programs and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Vocational degree or relevant certification in industrial maintenance, electrical, or mechanical technology.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Welding and fabrication proficiency.
• HVAC or refrigeration system experience/certification.
• Advanced PLC programming or troubleshooting skills.
