We’re hiring a Melting Technician for our Southwest Houston area client!
We are looking for experienced, reliable, hard-working employees who can interview immediately!
DESCRIPTION OF YOUR DREAM JOB:
Job Title: Melting Technician
Location: Southwest Houston area
Pay: $18-24/hr.
Hours: Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm
Duration: Temp-to-hire
Description of Duties:
Set up, operate, and monitor induction melting furnaces and pouring equipment. Inspect castings for quality issues including misruns, cold shuts, shrinkage, inclusions, and surface defects. Use measuring equipment such as pyrometers, thermocouples, scales, calipers, and micrometers.
Requirements:
1+ year of experience in a foundry or high-temperature manufacturing environment preferred. Induction melting and pouring experience preferred. Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures and production documentation. Ability to troubleshoot equipment and production issues.
