Job DescriptionDirect Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join an Am Law firm’s Real Estate practice in Washington, DC.
This opportunity is ideal for a mid-level associate with strong commercial real estate transactional experience, including acquisitions, financings, and development matters. The role offers immediate responsibility within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions

Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements

Manage real estate financing transactions

Assist with development projects and related transactional matters

Collaborate with clients and cross-practice teams to drive transactions from inception through closing
Qualifications:

3–5 years of real estate transactional experience at a law firm

Experience with commercial real estate acquisition, sale, financing, and development

Strong academic credentials
-
JD from an accredited law school

Admission to the DC Bar (or eligibility for prompt admission)
Compensation:
$260,000 – $365,000 base salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
