Director Project Management, Industrial Manufacturing

Job Description

We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Director of Project Management search in the Lordstown, OH area.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Project Managers to enhance their skills and performance.
• Implement and continuously refine project management methodologies and best practices to drive efficiency.
• Ensure projects align with organizational goals, adhere to timelines, and remain within budget constraints.
• Oversee the comprehensive planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent technical projects.
• Act as a primary point of contact for executive leadership and key stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and strategic decisions.
• Facilitate effective cross-functional collaboration among engineering, product, operations, external vendors, and customers to ensure project success.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and coaching project management teams to enhance skills and performance.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices, with the ability to implement and refine these processes for increased efficiency.
• Ability to ensure all projects align with organizational goals, effectively managing timelines and budget constraints.
• Skilled in assessing and managing project risks to proactively address challenges and keep projects on track.
