Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Store Manager I for a fast paced, retail store environment. Strong attention to detail and customer service skills are essential for this role. This individual will handle various duties as detailed below.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
(Other Duties as Assigned)
1. Directly mentor, coach and supervise direct reports.
2. Ensure Inventory Control of store products.
3. Greet/Assist Customers with product selection.
4. Work within annual budgets.
5. Communicate with and coordinate directly with customers, vendors and suppliers.
6. Assure quality, quantity and on-time delivery of products and/or services.
7. Perform Register functions and take customer orders via all methods available.
8. Perform purchasing functions for both inventory stocking and special-order requirements.
9. Perform warehouse functions...to include off-loading trucks, in-checking of inventory, stocking shelves and special-order requirements.
10. Perform Deliveries as needed.
11. Build and develop teams to accomplish performance goals.
12. Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
· Must be able to pass a security clearance.
· Must be proficient in keyboards, computers and inventory control systems.
· Must operate a Point of Sale System.
· Proficient in the use of Counterpoint, Point of Sale System...but not required.
· Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment and multitask constantly shifting priorities
· Must be very organized, detailed and a team player...must be willing to adapt to change
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Possess technical skills, analytical ability, sound judgment, planning, and organizing expertise.
· May routinely lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
· Must have valid Driver’s License with 0 points.
