Weekend Days 6 AM - 6 PM, Fri to Sun
$25 to $29 / hour
Job Purpose: To contribute to the success of our customers by ensuring daily production line output meets or exceeds the production schedule and quality requirements.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Effectively manages production areas so that production meets production schedule, quality and safety requirements.
Adapt to schedule and personnel changes to ensure internal or external customers' needs and delivery dates are met. Observe daily production line progress and pre-empt bottlenecks in production. Maintain an active presence on the floor to monitor, motivate and ensure success. Ensure that daily production goals/objectives are met; takes action when they are not met. Conduct a daily production meeting at Utilizes daily standard work for self and direct reports to reinforce a culture of discipline and consistent practices.
Manage the safety, cleanliness, maintenance and upkeep of the shop floor and workstations.
Ensure that equipment cleaning, and sanitation processes are followed and documented.
Ensures a clean and organized work environment that adheres to the Zones housekeeping schedule.
Ensure OSHA safety requirements are being met and that company safety processes are followed.

Qualification and Skill Requirements:
Prior Experience:
2 to 5 years in team leadership roles in a manufacturing environment or four-year degree.
Knowledge and skill requirements:
Ability to learn and apply cleaning and sanitizing processes.
The ability to learn and understanding reporting software such as Alliance or other MRP software.
Requires specific knowledge in a manufacturing environment.
· A high school diploma or GED is required. Some college is preferred.
To be effective this person must have the ability to trouble shoot production equipment operation and perform autonomous maintenance on all filling machines and support equipment.
Capable of multi-tasking the operation of Value Stream Area.
