About the Role
As a Non-Destructive Test Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and performance of aircraft structures and components. Supporting the In-Service NDT team, you will help develop inspection procedures, perform equipment setup, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives that keep aviation operating at the highest standards.
Job Type: Full-time Consultant (12 months)
Location: Tukwila, WA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, First Shift
Pay Rate: 34.00 - 48.00/Hour
Note: Regular and predictable attendance is required. Associate and Experienced level opportunities are available, and compensation will be based on experience.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will support advanced inspection and testing efforts, including:

Authoring Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) procedures

Incorporating revisions from Responsible Level III into standard procedures

Developing Computer Assisted Drawings (CAD) for specialized calibration standards

Setting up and calibrating NDT and measurement equipment
-
Creating procedure figures to define inspection locations, accessibility, probe placement, and signal response

Monitoring inspection results and reporting adverse trends or anomalies

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, safety, and compliance

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and reliable inspections
Required Qualifications
-
1+ years of education or experience in Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) or Non-Destructive Testing (NDT)
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends as needed

Willingness and ability to travel up to 15%

Ability to work in confined spaces

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Preferred Qualifications
-
3+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
-
Associate degree in a related technical discipline
-
800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
-
300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear-Wave Testing
-
800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET)
-
Experience using CAD software
-
Experience writing UT and ET inspection techniques and procedures

Pay Details: 34.00 to 48.00 per hour
