We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure upgrade and continuity initiatives. This role involves managing after-hours and weekend projects that impact key systems such as power, HVAC, and security. Ideal candidates will bring a balance of technical expertise and strong project leadership, particularly in environments requiring strict operational control and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage critical infrastructure projects including generator and equipment replacement, HVAC/crack units, and security systems.
- Coordinate with IT teams and subcontractors to plan and execute after-hours work (typically Friday–Sunday) to avoid operational disruption.
- Ensure continuity of operations through proactive planning, change control, and stakeholder coordination.
- Oversee project documentation, including method-of-procedure (MOP) and risk mitigation plans.
- Collaborate across facilities, engineering, and vendor teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead technical infrastructure initiatives end-to-end.
- Working knowledge of MEP systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
- Familiarity with MOP documentation and enterprise-level change control processes.
- Experience working in regulated, high-stakes environments such as data centers, financial services, or healthcare is a plus.
Work Environment & Expectations
- Hybrid role with at least 3 days onsite in the NYC office per week.
- Availability for weekend and after-hours work as needed for infrastructure cutovers and project delivery.
