Title: Commissioning Specialist
Interview Process: 2 rounds PM & Lead Tech
Start Date: ASAP
Location: SLC
Hours: 7-4, 8-5 depending on project
Engagement Type: 6 month Contract to hire
Pay Rate: 30-45/hr
Must-Haves:
- 3+ years of experience within the AV industry (either installation or operating AV equipment)

- Working with Crestron, Biamp, AMX
- Light networking experience

- Technical proficiency to diagnose if it’s a system or network problem
- Must have good customer facing experience
- Must have a valid Driver's License and Driving Record that matches customer driving standards
- Must be able to pass a drug test
Nice-To-Haves:
- CTS Certification
- Crestron Programming Certification
- Must have experience doing light programming (either in Crestron or AMX)
Day to day:
A client of Insight Global is looking to hire a Commissioning specialist to join their team in the Salt Lake City Region. This person will be responsible for commissioning all of their newly integrated rooms and making sure that all of the integrated systems are functioning. This person will be responsible for connecting to all of the equipment, making sure everything is loaded, tested and fully documented. This person will also train the end customer on their newly integrated systems to make sure they are able to utilize them properly.
