Title Assistant Project Manager
Location South Florida Region (Miami - Dade County, Broward County, Palm Beach County, etc.
Salary $80,000 - $110,000 per annum

A top, South Florida General Contractor seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of ground-up commercial real estate construction projects across South Florida. This role offers direct exposure to all phases of development—from preconstruction through close-out—working with a dynamic team of developers, contractors, and consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with day-to-day management of active construction projects from start to finish
Review plans, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with local codes and design intent
Help coordinate RFIs, submittals, and change orders using Procore and other construction management platforms
Track project schedules, assist with timeline updates, and help maintain project momentum
Support procurement, bid leveling, subcontractor coordination, and material tracking
Perform site walks to document progress, identify issues, and support field operations
Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and ownership to keep communication and documentation clear and organized
Assist with project budgeting, invoicing, and reporting to senior management
Support close-out procedures, punch list tracking, and turnover documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
2+ years of experience in ground-up construction, preferably commercial real estate (office, retail, mixed-use, etc.)
Must have strong South Florida experience and knowledge of local construction processes and regulations
Proficient with AutoCAD, Procore, Microsoft Project, Excel, and other standard construction software
Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
Must be able to travel to active job sites across South Florida as required
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary: $80,000–$110,000, depending on experience
