Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Assignment: Long-Term Coverage
Patient Population: Adults 18+
Patient Volume: Approximately 2 patients per hour
No Weekends
Opportunity Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a long-term coverage opportunity at an onsite employee health clinic located within a distribution center.
This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys a combination of primary care, same-day care, employee health, and occupational medicine while maintaining a consistent Monday–Friday schedule.
You'll join an established and collaborative onsite clinical team that includes another Nurse Practitioner, two Registered Nurses, and one Licensed Practical Nurse.
What You'll Be Doing

Provide primary care services to an adult employee population

Evaluate and treat same-day and acute care needs

Assess common illnesses and minor injuries

Evaluate and manage minor work-related injuries

Support workers' compensation cases within the scope of the onsite clinic

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations

Diagnose conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans

Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing

Prescribe medications within scope of practice

Provide preventive care, health education, and wellness counseling

Perform appropriate patient follow-up

Identify conditions requiring referral to specialists, emergency departments, or outside healthcare providers

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Collaborate with the onsite NP and nursing team to ensure continuity of care

Follow established clinical protocols, safety standards, and employee health policies

Qualifications
-
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of practice

Current national NP or PA certification
-
Current BLS certification
-
Previous experience in Primary Care, Family Medicine, Urgent Care, Occupational Health, or Employee Health strongly preferred

Comfortable independently evaluating and treating adult patients

Occupational injury and workers' compensation experience preferred

Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills

Excellent communication and documentation skills

Ability to work collaboratively within an established healthcare team
