Senior Project Architect:


We are seeking a licensed Senior Project Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex healthcare, education, and commercial projects. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader with strong technical expertise, proven project management experience, and the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams through all phases of design and construction.


Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from programming and schematic design through construction administration.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and quality control efforts.
  • Coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders.
  • Prepare, review, and oversee construction documents, specifications, and technical details.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, accessibility requirements, and industry-specific standards.
  • Facilitate client meetings, presentations, and project decision-making processes.
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment.


Qualifications

  • Professional architectural license (RA) required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 8+ years of architectural experience with demonstrated success delivering healthcare, education, commercial, or other institutional projects.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, codes, and life safety requirements.
  • Experience managing projects through all phases of design and construction.
  • Proficiency in Revit required; experience with BIM coordination and construction administration preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.


Preferred Experience

  • Healthcare, higher education, K-12, or complex commercial project experience.
  • Familiarity with healthcare guidelines, educational facility standards, and sustainable design practices.
  • LEED accreditation and/or NCARB certification preferred.
