Position: Assembler II
Pay Rate: $22/hr
Hours: Monday through Friday from 6am to 2:30pm
Location: Carlsbad, Ca
Job Summary: The Assembler II works under the general supervision of the production lead or supervisor will put together parts that have already been put together. This job entails creating bigger units that meet specific requirements based on schematics, drawings, and other engineering documents. Maintain a certain level of quality and quantity of assembled parts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Interpret schematics, drawings, or other engineering documents to build product bases.
• Assemble heavy mechanical parts that require fitting, aligning, and adjusting them. This type of work requires average complexity.
• Identify and avoid problems by telling the manufacturing engineer about possible issues with the machines.
• Ensure your workstation is ready for parts, materials, and tools at the start of the shift
• Utilize soldering tools and machines to perform essential test functions.
• Proficiency in the ERP system to distribute finished goods
• Maintain inventory data in the ERP system, including workstation setup
• Do the 5S process daily.
• Cross-train and provide backup to meet the needs of the business.
• Do all ECNs as soon as they happen.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations.
• Follow safety practices, participate in safety training as required, and report any unsafe condition or accident.
Qualifications:
• Requires a US citizenship or permanent resident alien certification.
• Must possess manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, and proficiency in the hand tools to perform repetitive assembly or repetitive functions in performing assembly operations.
• Basic computer literacy
• Proficient in the use of a soldering iron to seal wires and weld tools
• Knowledgeable of electronic components and experience in operating assorted tools: drills, wrenches e.g
