Twin City Staffing is hiring a maintenance mechanic to perform maintenance and repair of manufacturing and production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. This maintenance mechanic job is an exciting opportunity to become part of one of Minnesota’s most reputable manufacturers.
Location: Blaine, MN
Wage: $25 – $40/hr.
Hours: 6 am – 4:30 pm, Monday – Thursday (overtime available on Fridays)

Duties of the maintenance mechanic:
- Cooperate with supervisors, machine operators and other mechanics in troubleshooting and repair of production equipment
- Respond to needs for immediate repair of production equipment
- Complete scheduled preventative maintenance activities
- Keep work area clean
- Alert facility and maintenance manager or another supervisor to any safety or quality issues needing attention
- Recommend process improvements
- Participate in special activities, projects and programs in order to support safety, quality and productivity goals
Knowledge and skills of the maintenance mechanic:
- Communicate fluently in English
- Mechanical skills
- Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems for production equipment
Physical requirements of the maintenance mechanic:
- Use arms, hands, legs, and feet in repetitive motions
- Lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
- Climb ladders and stairs and walk on concrete floors and uneven surfaces for duration of shift
- Good vision and depth perception
- Work overtime as needed
Formal education and training required:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Training provided
