Job Summary:

A packer is responsible for stacking finished goods to a specified work order. They verify the correct quantities and quality checking completed orders, manage finished goods inventory, and use hand tools and mechanical equipment to pack/bundle structurally sound products and structures.

Essential Responsibilities

• Uses power tools and mechanical equipment to pack finished goods.

• Place packing finished good in a shipping crate to minimize potential of product damage during shipping.

• Verify styles and quantities of materials picked.

• Follow company procedures and directives.

• Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.

• Resolve discrepancies. Research all possible solutions to ensure order is accurate.

Qualifications

  • Focused attention span.

  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions on work orders and equipment.

  • Able to follow all safety requirements.

  • Ability to maneuver power tools and crane.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Cut resistant gloves.

  • Safety glasses.

  • Non-Climate Control.

  • Exposure to paint, adhesives and petroleum products odors.
