Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced FP& A Manager/Supervisor to join our team in Valencia, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in driving financial planning, analysis, and operational decision-making for the organization. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with business unit leaders, lead budgeting and forecasting efforts, and contribute to the overall financial strategy.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the preparation and coordination of annual budgets and financial forecasts, ensuring collaboration with business unit leaders and management.
• Develop and maintain accurate financial statements and reports that align with accounting standards and organizational needs.
• Analyze monthly financial results, including budget variances and key metrics, to provide actionable insights to management.
• Generate comprehensive financial reporting materials for internal stakeholders and the Board of Directors on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Drive continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to management reporting, dashboards, and business metrics to adapt to evolving needs.
• Conduct financial analyses and reconciliations to support decision-making and provide recommendations for achieving financial objectives.
• Manage capital projects, including cost analyses and post-acquisition reviews, to ensure effective resource allocation.
• Supervise, train, and develop subordinate staff to enhance team performance and capabilities.
• Participate in system upgrades and contribute to the implementation of improvements in financial processes and tools.
• Handle special projects and provide financial support as needed, ensuring the efficient functioning of the department.• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a strong background in budgeting and forecasting.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Expertise in financial planning tools, including SAP and Dynamics NAV.
• Familiarity with small business lending practices and related financial processes.
• Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with experience in employee training and development.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex financial challenges.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present financial insights to stakeholders.
