What Our Client Needs

Our client is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support and advance a large-scale technology transformation. This role focuses on modernizing platforms, optimizing processes, and ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of cloud-based systems that support internal operations and customer-facing services.

What You’ll Do

  • Administer and support Microsoft Azure services including virtual machines, app services, storage accounts, key vaults, and virtual networks
  • Develop, maintain, and deploy Infrastructure as Code using Bicep templates for consistent cloud resource provisioning
  • Monitor system health and performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related tools to proactively identify and resolve issues
  • Deploy and maintain internal and external applications with secure integration to Active Directory and single sign-on services
  • Implement and manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies while applying cloud security best practices
  • Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to troubleshoot incidents, support deployments, and provide Tier 2 infrastructure escalation support
  • Participate in operational monitoring, alert response, and on-call rotations to support critical systems and deployments
  • Travel may be required up to 20%. This role does not include supervisory responsibilities.


What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
  • Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Azure and cloud infrastructure environments
  • Experience administering cloud services such as virtual machines, networking, storage, and application services
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Bicep templates or similar tools
  • Knowledge of monitoring platforms such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
  • Experience supporting application deployments and identity integration with Active Directory and single sign-on
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and resolve infrastructure issues
  • Experience supporting secure, resilient cloud and hybrid environments
