Westaff is seeking Entry- Experiences Maintenance Mechanics to join their Team! Openings available in Meriden, Middletown, and Miford, CT.
The ideal candidate will have a background in manufacturing/production machinery maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various mechanical systems.

Maintenance Mechanic Job Duties:
- Inspects, repairs, adjusts and maintains production equipment as necessary and as scheduled to keep it functioning optimally.
- Sets up, troubleshoots and repairs production equipment malfunctions reported to maintenance by line supervisors.
- Test operates production machinery before and after repairs are made.
- Operates drills, grinders, and a variety of manual tools to repair and maintain production equipment.
- Communicates progress of repair work, potential problems and general functioning of equipment to line supervisors and incoming maintenance shifts.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues before they become significant problems.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs performed and materials used.
