We are seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate vertical machining centers using Fanuc controls. This role supports a small machining team producing prototype components, small-batch parts, and high-volume production work. The position offers opportunities to advance toward CNC programming or a lead machinist role.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate vertical machining centers.
- Edit CNC programs using Fanuc controls.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Set up fixtures for machining operations.
- Inspect machined parts using calipers, micrometers, CMM equipment, optical measurement systems, and other inspection tools.
- Perform quality inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and conformance.
- Produce prototype components, small-batch parts, and high-volume production parts.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with CNC machining and vertical machining centers.
- Experience with Fanuc controls.
- Blueprint reading skills.
- Experience with precision measurement and quality control.
- Strong attention to detail.
