POSITION SUMMARY
The Leasing Manager will assist the Student Housing Property Management team in driving the property leasing efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Oversee leasing and marketing duties for property.
§ Work closely with the team to maximize revenue, occupancy, resident, and retention goals.
§ Generate traffic, participate in outreach marketing, execute marketing plan, think outside the box to drive leasing efforts to hit leasing goals.
§ Lease and renew beds/apartments, generate leases, follow new lease and renewal procedures.
§ Tour prospective residents, provide information on property amenities and services, create excitement and desire to live in the community.
§ Communicate with residents and prospective residents in person or via phone, text, email, social media and online sources.
§ Respond quicky to inquiries questions and concerns from residents and prospects.
§ Participate in and host fun community events.
§ Report accurate daily, weekly, and monthly leasing activity.
§ Provide exemplary customer service to residents, prospectives and visitors.
§ Create a fun and positive environment for residents.
§ Enforce community policies.
§ Assist in leading, developing and training the leasing team.
§ Use strong leadership abilities to empower and guide the team to success.
§ Uphold all company policies and values.
§ Assist in the annual move out/turnover/move in process as well as prepare for inspections.
§ All other duties as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Proven work experience in Student Housing leasing/property management or similar role - 2+ years.
· Working knowledge of industry standards and regulations and all aspects of leasing units.
· Experience with Entrata highly preferred, proficient computer skills necessary.
- Strong marketing skills, outgoing, self-starter, creative.
- Experience with outreach marketing.
- Ability to continually close on prospects and lease apartments.
· Pleasant attitude to all prospects, residents and associates/Strong customer service skills.
- Able to build rapport, make genuine connections and create an exciting environment.
· Strong written, verbal and presentation skills; effective communicator.
· Ability to read/write in English and to understand directives both orally and in writing.
· Analytical skills required.
· Detail oriented and ability to multi-task is required.
· Be committed to the success of each associate as a member of the team.
