Position: Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator
Pay: $17.72/hour
Shift: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Location: Plainfield, IN
Job SummaryThe Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator is responsible for safely moving, picking, staging, and storing pallets throughout the warehouse. This position requires recent stand-up reach forklift experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Candidates must be comfortable operating warehouse equipment, using RF scanners, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely operate a stand-up reach forklift
- Pick full pallets and move them to designated staging lanes
- Replenish pick locations by moving pallets from storage racks
- Move incoming pallets from receiving areas to assigned rack locations
- Use RF scanners to locate products, fill orders, and manage inventory
- Verify inventory counts before and after picking to ensure accuracy
- Build pallets according to product size and weight to prevent damage
- Wrap completed pallets and apply shipping labels before staging
- Stage products safely and accurately throughout the warehouse
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures and policies
- Complete additional warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Recent stand-up reach forklift experience required
- Ability to work Monday–Friday from 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods and frequently bend, twist, and reach
- Must successfully complete required forklift safety training and certification
- Must submit to and pass a background check
Preferred:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous warehouse experience
