Position: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Location: Lee's Summit, MO 64081

Pay Rate: $23/hr.

Duration: ASAP to 10/19/26 (possible extension)

Schedule: Approximately 37 hours/week | No weekends

• Monday: 7 am - 11 am

• Tuesday: 7 am - 3 pm

• Wednesday: 7 am - 05:30 pm

• Thursday: 7 am - 11 am (labs) / 12 pm - 05:30 pm

• Friday: 7 am - 12 pm (labs) / 1 pm - 04:30 pm

Overview: Seeking a Medical Assistant with clinic experience to support a Primary Care and Occupational Health clinic. The role involves providing clinical support for patients ages 2 and older in an outpatient setting that handles physical exams, sick visits, well-woman exams, routine office visits, workers’ compensation injuries, and physicals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support primary care and occupational health visits, including physicals, sick visits, well-woman exams, and office visits

• Assist with workers’ compensation injuries and bus driver physicals

• Perform DOT urine drug screens (UDS) and point-of-care testing, including strep, COVID, flu, urine dip, and pregnancy tests

• Conduct EKGs and assist with routine clinical procedures

• Perform phlebotomy and manage lab draws independently

• Prepare, process, and send laboratory specimens

• Accurately document patient care using Epic

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in primary care, urgent care, occupational health, or a similar setting is preferred

• Strong phlebotomy/venipuncture skills is required

• EPIC EMR experience is preferred

• Must be a Nationally certified Medical Assistant or be able to provide a Medical Assistant diploma with transcripts.

• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) or the ability to obtain it post-offer
