Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Sheet Metal Installers for projects located in the Troy, OH area. This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $25+/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Install commercial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems
- Install rectangular and round ductwork, fittings, transitions, and duct accessories
- Measure, cut, fabricate, and assemble sheet metal components
- Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and project specifications
- Install ductwork, hangers, supports, and associated hardware
Responsibilities
- Minimum of 3+ years of commercial sheet metal installation experience, preferably in new construction
- Working knowledge of commercial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal installation
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and construction drawings
- Experience measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing ductwork
- Must have required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, work gloves, high-visibility vest, and appropriate work boots
