Immediate opening for an experienced Maintenance Technician.

This position is responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance activities on resort equipment and tools. Maintains all resort units and public space areas in good repair, ensuring an attractive and well-maintained property.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
• Lubricate, clean, and inspect equipment, machines or tools.
• Acknowledge and welcome owners/guests.
• Unit and public space maintenance.
  • Painting, Stucco, texturing, drywall, staining, knockdown and popcorn ceilings.
  • Basic appliance repair/removal.
  • Troubleshoot plumbing fixtures.
  • Change filters.
  • Basic HVAC controls and repairs.
  • Replace light bulbs and ballasts.
  • Repair closet/drapery tracks.
  • Removal and replacement of furniture.
  • General carpentry and repairs.
  • Replace remote control batteries.
  • Unclog toilets & sinks.
  • Touch-up paint.
  • Glue peeling wallpaper.
• Ensure safety of resort and company assets.
• Assist with organizing maintenance inventory and request supplies/parts as needed.
• Provide daily task report of all work completed.
• Wear protective equipment when required.

Qualifications:

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years' experience in building and/or facilities, property maintenance.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of and ability to use general repair tools (both hand and power).
• Ability to read simple drawings and specs.
• Experience with plumbing and electrical systems.
• Command of the English language.
• Ability to work safely with chemicals.
