Equipment Technician/ Facility Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Technician/Facility Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all beverage production equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and executing necessary repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventative maintenance on production equipment, including canning lines, carbonation systems, chillers, conveyors, pasteurizers, air compressors, and packaging machines.

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues promptly and efficiently.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.

Order and manage spare parts inventory to ensure equipment availability.

Communicate effectively with production staff and management regarding equipment status and repair schedules.

Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery as required.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures at all times.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational training or certification preferred.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in beverage or food manufacturing.

Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in electrical troubleshooting.

Familiarity with PLC systems, motors, drives, and sensors is highly desirable.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably in a manufacturing environment.
Pay Range:

$25-$32 per hour (commensurate with experience)
