The Subway Manager oversees the daily operations of a single store, ensuring smooth functioning across all departments including staff management, inventory, and customer service. Reporting directly to the franchise owner, this role plays a critical part in maintaining operational standards and driving customer satisfaction. There is potential for growth into an area manager position for highly effective leaders.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise store staff to maintain high performance and morale
- Control inventory levels to optimize stock and reduce waste
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer issues promptly
- Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage
- Handle cash transactions accurately and securely
- Conduct employee training and development initiatives
- Ensure quality control and adherence to food safety standards
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Servsafe certification
- Proven skills in customer service
- Experience in staff supervision and inventory management
- Proficiency in cash handling and scheduling
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in restaurant management
