IT Systems Operation Assistant manager (VPC)
Position Summary:
IT Systems Operation Assistant manager will work with other engineers and participate in designing, implementing and managing business web applications and its servers. High level of proficiency working on continuous improvement, utilizing Database, Web Applications develoment is required - This position provides project management and assistance with IT operational and GEA systems(GCS,JIS,WMS,IVELES,VLMS others New systems...) and manage and improve systems reliability, security, availability, and flexibility for excellent information services.
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage critical issues & resolutions related to existing Application Systems
- Develop and propose resolutions or alternative solutions for better information services
- Direct and design system architecture
- Evaluate/propose Hardware, software, solutions
- Share system knowledge with team members so there is a backup member when one is absent
- Keep up with new technology/trend and adopt them to IT system and software
- Act as a liaison with customers and partners IT Departments
- Develop and implement Application by using programming language System Enhancement in Applications & Infrastructure
- New implementation and Modification of IT program/software
- Requirements analysis and Application System Design and Development including Database
- Implementation and testing the New Enterprise-Applications
- Research for the enhancement or improvement of IT systems
- Monitor system failure & performance and properly resolve them in right time
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology area or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience web development and IT infrastructure.
- 7+ Yrs managerial experience
Skill & Knowledge:
- Develop and implement applications by using programming language( Java, Vue, C#, SQL, etc.)
- experience with Oracle, Java, JDK, Java related framework(Springboot, HTML, CSS, SVN, Node JS, etc.)
- experience with open source software(Linux, AWS.Python. etc.)
- Database(Maria, Tibero, Oracle) Programming experience(PL/SQL).
- experience with Middleware(Nginx,Tomcat,WebtoB,JEUS,Apache,Jboss)

The estimated base salary range for the IT Systems Operation Assistant manager is $80,000-$86,000. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
