We are looking for an experienced Accounts Team Leader to join our friendly, dynamic, and busy team based in Wanaka. Our dedicated team ensures accurate and timely running of the organisation’s financial activities, ensuring our customers and stakeholders alike get the best experience possible. The role of the Accounts Team Leader requires a combination of strong people leadership, accounts experience and organisational skills.
This is a full time, 40 hour/week position.
What does the Role looks like?
- Investigating accounts queries
- Reconciling payments through Xero
- Working collaboratively with our Sales team to ensure all payments are made efficiently and correctly
- Daily and monthly task allocation for accounts assistants team
- Training of accounts assistants and accounts training for sales team
Requirements
- 2 years of accounts experience desirable in both New Zealand and Australia
- Strong teamwork skills with a “can do” attitude
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support others
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
- Business acumen & interest
- Ability to work discreetly and with integrity when dealing with confidential company information
- Organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines
- Strong computer skills including excel and Xero skills
- High level of attention to detail
