About the Role:
Our client, a leading plastics manufacturer in Somerset, NJ, is seeking experienced machine operators to join their production team.
Important Note:
We are specifically looking for skilled machine operators—not packers. Candidates must have hands-on experience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining manufacturing equipment in a production environment.Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and troubleshoot multiple thermoforming machines simultaneously
• Run Erema extruders to meet product specifications
• Perform thermoforming of plastic materials, including PET
• Operate and maintain trim press equipment
• Support packaging teams as needed to meet production goals
• Operate production reactors to support manufacturing processes
• Troubleshoot quality issues to ensure consistent product standards

Preferred Experience:

• Configuring ECM machines for optimal performance
• Conducting acid concentration testing and maintaining electrode integrity
• Handling chemicals safely (e.g., nitric acid, hydrochloric acid)
• Overseeing injection molding operations
• Performing quality inspections and preparing finished goods for shipment

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in plastics manufacturing, extrusion, or thermoforming
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of safety procedures for chemical handling
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
