CORA's Mission Support Division is seeking a full-time Facilities Director to responsible to manage the agency’s Facilities functions, including CORA owned buildings, grounds, trailers, vehicle fleet and other equipment, and to assist CORA Services in achieving its goals and optimizing its operations.
Salary range for this position is $88,000 - $95,000 (salary commensurate with experience).

In addition, as a Facilities Director some of your duties will include:
- Develop and implement Facilities strategies that align with agency goals, mission and values.
- Contribute to overall agency strategy and vision in partnership with senior staff.
- Responsible for all planning, upkeep and maintenance of administrative building and grounds and classroom trailers at locations throughout the city.
- Responsible for all planning, upkeep and maintenance, registration and certifications of vehicle fleet including domestic vehicles, school bus and groundskeeping equipment.
- Lead, supervise and empower the Lead Maintenance Technician in their day-to-day management of Facilities Crew to ensure high-quality service/work and efficient operations. Crew duties include:
- Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and basic repairs for building; including plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems
- Light carpentry, wall patching and repair, painting
- Grounds keeping, mowing, snow removal
- Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and basic repairs for equipment
- Conference room set ups
- Light housekeeping: cleaning, floor/carpet care, trash removal
- General labor: loading/unloading, making deliveries, moving furniture
- Build and adhere to life cycle and maintenance schedules for all CORA Facilities assets.
- Manage relationships with outside vendors/contractors.
- Evening and weekend availability for emergencies, special projects and weather-related responses.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Facilities management and/or trade-related certification preferred
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- 7+ years of experience in facilities management or a related trade.
- Experience managing teams.
- Working understanding of electrical, plumbing and carpentry, preferably in a commercial setting.
- Knowledge of basic methods, materials, tools, equipment, hazards, and safety precautions of the building maintenance trades.
- Ability to read blueprints and as built diagrams.
- Experience operating and maintaining a variety of equipment including slow blowers, lawn mowers and hand tools.
- Demonstrated administrative, organizational and financial management skills.
- Proficiency in use of computers and software including Microsoft Office and ticketing systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with administrators, staff, clients, and the community.
- 21+ years old with a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
