This contract opportunity is perfect for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP CCC) ready to make a positive difference in an educational environment, supporting students across several campuses near Federalsburg, MD.

You will dedicate your expertise primarily to high school and vocational students at two secondary campuses, with one day each week devoted to elementary learners. Your impact will span August 24th, 2026, through June 10th, 2027, working a consistent 37.5 hours per week within a collaborative, student-centered setting.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Active SLP license in Maryland
  • Prior experience delivering speech-language services in schools is highly valued
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for working with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose students’ speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress
  • Deliver direct and consultative services in both group and one-on-one settings
  • Provide support and training for teachers to integrate therapy strategies in the classroom
  • Document services, maintain records, and update progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a comprehensive approach to student success
