Career Strategies is seeking an experienced Leasing Consultant for supporting communities throughout the Ventura County area. This role is ideal for professionals with 6 months to 1 year of hands-on leasing experience with a property after demonstrating strong performance, reliability, and cultural fit.

As a Leasing Consultant, you will serve as the first point of contact for prospective and current residents, supporting leasing operations, driving occupancy, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist prospective residents by conducting property tours and presenting available units
  • Manage leasing leads through follow-up, outreach, and conversion of prospects into executed leases
  • Process rental applications, lease agreements, and move-in documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain working knowledge of pricing, availability, market trends, and competitor communities
  • Build and maintain positive resident relationships while addressing questions or concerns professionally
  • Assist with property inspections to ensure leasing areas, models, and common spaces meet presentation standards
  • Support marketing and outreach efforts, including online listings and community engagement
  • Participate in resident events and leasing initiatives to promote retention and satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year of leasing or property management experience required
  • Familiarity with Yardi, AppFolio, or similar property management software
  • Strong customer service, sales, and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Availability to work weekends as required
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in real estate or business is a plus

Employment Details

  • Weekly pay during the temporary assignment
