The ideal candidate brings a minimum of seven years of hands-on litigation experience, with the capability to independently manage a diverse docket that includes real estate litigation, business disputes, and general civil litigation matters. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage litigation files from intake through trial and/or settlement.
- Draft and argue motions, prepare pleadings, and handle all facets of discovery.
- Conduct depositions, mediations, hearings, and, when needed, trials.
- Analyze complex legal and factual issues, advising clients with clarity and confidence.
- Develop case strategy, evaluate exposure, and recommend cost-effective solutions.
- Represent clients in matters involving real estate disputes, commercial disagreements, and general business conflicts.
- Work collaboratively with partners, paralegals, and support staff to advance case objectives.
- Maintain organized, timely, and thorough case documentation and reporting.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the Florida Bar.
- Minimum 7 years of litigation experience, including real estate and business litigation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cases with minimal supervision.
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Confident courtroom presence and advocacy skills.
- Ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with clients.
- Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service.
